When I started my spiritual journey, the main question I had was, "what does that mean?" I was walking through the 'shadow of the valley of death,' (transformation and evolution towards who I really AM) by myself. Or so I thought. I was encouraged and assisted by my children who had been on their spiritual journeys for some time.
When they heard my questions, eyebrows went up. I could feel their response...spiritual. I thank my little Baba whose at first was frustrated. She advised that I listen to binaural beats to help me learn to calm my soul and meditate, but to be careful. I told her it was 'devil' music. She now tells me, "I told you so." I love her!
My sons helped me to navigate other questions giving clarity about meditation, breathing and how Angels work in the background to maneuver things for our highest good. They were right. I love them!
I started 'remembering' the basics from my Spirit Guides that started appering in my presence every time I asked that question through visions, answers I 'heard,' dreams, smells, and then feeling the answer. I just knew. But I wanted more, the thirst for knowledge was and still is insatiable for deeper things. Once an answer is revealed, my reaction is, "oh wow, really!"
Sometimes I would ask a question and I received no answer. The feeling I got was...not yet. I started putting in the effort to find the answer in other ways. Each time, Spirit would 'see' what I would do. I needed to take action to balance my physical vessel on my spiritual path. Self Love was the answer to create balance. I had to become the Creator, creating my new reality.
I was never afraid of ghosts or Above Beings. I have seen them and 'heard' Them since I was 10. I always had an interest in television shows, books and stories about the supernatural. My dad of Creole ethnicity, once told me a story about walking home through the deep woods of Louisiana.
He shared with me advice he received from his older brothers. They told him if you are ever walking in the dark and you see the 'Jack-O-Lantern,' take your knife and stick it in a fence post. The ghost cannot go past the silver blade of your knife.
One night he was doing just that, walking home in the dark being followed by an orange glowing orb of light. He was startled but did what his brothers told him to do. He pulled out his knife and placed it in a fence post. The orange glowing orb stopped where he placed his knife and he went on his way. He did go back the next morning to retrieve his knife.
My Dad also told me that when we die, passed over loved ones are there to welcome you to get you where you need to be. I can say that through my journey, my Dad is still with me getting me where I need to be. When I taste cold red apples, I know he is with me. That is another story. He went home and I'm sure his brothers were there to greet him, hug him and tell him, "you made it! Come on in!"
The Spirits I see and feel now as long as they are Universal Beings of the Highest White Light, I welcome and invite into my space because they have much to share for my highest good. But we have to remember the Universe is balanced with Light and Dark. I am careful to mind the advice I was given by my Higher Self early on to "clear your space," "maintain your balance," and "protect your energy."
What does that mean? Protect your energy? As an Empath, I absorb energy from others good and bad. We must protect ourselves from negative energy without judging or causing another person an imbalance. I choose Love and follow the advice of a wise human Angel sage, "close your avenues and channels unless it is needed or an emergency." It is now a daily practice.
I began 1111 Mind, Body & Soul Healing because I Am here to be of service to others utilizing the gifts and skill set that has always been there, but has now emerged. However, Your best instructor is You. You have to be perplexed enough to ask the questions, then turn within to connect to YOURSELF and your Heavnely Guides. REMEMBER WHO YOU REALLY ARE.
Another piece of admonition I was given by my Higher Self is, "you have every thing you need." I trust Her. My Soul will never lead me astray. She loves me like I would love myself. She is Me.
Like my Dad, when he stuck his knife in the fence post, HE controlled the dark. WE have the power to control the dark that is filled with fear. Fear of the unknown can freeze one moving forward in their tracks. Our mission is to keep moving forward. Take the leap. We do that by peeking beyond the veil of forgetfulness and strike the match of decision to 'see' in the dark.
As a Spiritual LIfe Guide, I advise fellow travelers of their 'free will.' The choice you make is always yours. The current set of life circumstances are because of decisions made in the past. I was stuck there. I made the decision to change my reality to what I wanted, based on what I had.
Your life is a contrast of experiences you currently have versus those that you wish you had. I needed to trust God's plan for me or trust my plan for me. My plan was not working. I practice 'mindfulness' by staying in the now. I release the past on a daily basis and I do not revisit timelines filled with pain, sorrow and anxiety.
The Universe is our safety net. Trust is our motivator and the spark we need to take the first step. Trust Yourself. Be confident in your knowing. Start there.
We are here to help you on your journey. I may not know all the answers to questions you may have but, I have Supernatural Friends that do. So do you.
